Spirituality starts with becoming conscious, and education is an important means of developing consciousness. In our view, spiritual consciousness in the culture of companies and institutions is necessary, in order to tackle the problems of our present society. The Spiritual Innovation Fund aims to sponsor a ‘Entrepreneurship and Spirituality’ Chair at a Dutch educational institute. We are seeking Entrepreneurs with a strong social passion to give shape to new social initiatives, for the good of all. The Chair will be involved in educational programs for managers and conducting scientific research.
Management education is important because managers set the example for their company’s culture. Scientific research will help to give a more scientific basis to the effects of a spiritual culture. The scientific research will be focused on such initiatives as:
a. The relationship between spiritual culture and business performance.
b. The effects of a spiritual culture on companies and institutions.
c. Transformation towards organizations with a spiritual culture.
Establishment of a Chair for a part-time (50%) professor for a period of 5 years requires a sum of 75.000 €, anually. We will seek a co-sponsor in order to make a full-time professorship possible.
